This is great news for the Blue Jays which means that Clement will likely be able to return to the field rather quickly which is a massive positive since they are already dealing with a few injuries in Spring Training.
Clement will likely take a few days off to recover because despite no severe damage, he still took a 91 MPH fastball to the face and will definitely be dealing with some swelling over the next few days.
Clement is still battling for a full time spot on the roster despite being their main third baseman last year since they have added a ton of new players this off-season.
