Former Texas Rangers pitcher Matt Bush was arrested once again on Monday morning for violating the terms of bond conditions imposed after his arrest in October.
On October 4th 2024, Bush was arrested for driving under the influence, evading and causing an accident which caused an injured but was currently out on bond awaiting his hearing.
Bush is accused of violating the terms set after his October arrest, in which he was ultimately charged with driving while intoxicated, evading arrest and involvement in an accident causing injury. -Ontiveros

Bush was arrested last October for a DUI and it was the first time he was in trouble with alcohol since 2012 when he was arrested on two counts of DUI and property damage.
The former Rangers pitcher was arrested this time for for violating the terms of his bond conditions after he operated a vehicle after having consumed alcohol which was detected by his SCRAM device.
The Dallas Morning News left a message Wednesday for Bush's attorney but did not immediately hear back. According to online court records, Bush failed a SCRAM device analysis. -Ontiveros
Bush was forced to wear a SCRAM bracelet after his arrest in which is a device that can indicate alcohol consumption by analyzing sweat and blood alcohol content.
SCRAM stands for Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring. The device can indicate alcohol consumption by analyzing sweat samples of the wearer to measure blood alcohol content. -Ontiveros
The San Diego native was the first overall pick in the 2004 MLB draft but his last season came in 2023 when he signed a minor league deal with the Texas Rangers after being released by the Milwaukee Brewers.
