Bo Bichette Joined the Toronto Blue Jays in their series vs Boston last week as he sets his sights to make a return soon, but to get you excited, here is a crazy stat about how good he really is.
«I think with how the season went and hurting it like multiple times, obviously I wasn't mindful enough of it at the point, even though I really tried to be, so just trying to be as smart as I can be, but I'm happy with where it's at right now.» #BlueJays Bichette
Bo Bichette is the only Shortstop since 2021, who has 2,200 at-bats or less and to have 600 hits and 75+ home runs.
Even with all of the open trade rumors about Bichette, Blue Jays manager John Schneider spoke about what Bichette means to the team and how wxcited he is to have him back.
"We miss him, it's been weird without him," Schneider added. "I know, in talking to him, he wanted to get going in the second half, and then the injury happens - that's unfortunate for him and for us. From afar, he's enjoyed watching these young guys play, he's enjoyed watching the veterans play and his role isn't going to change with us, whenever he does get back. He's right in the middle of it, and we want him to just continue to be him."
Bo has been out of the lineup since mid July due to a ongoing and recuring calf strain that seems to always creep in and out. It is the 2nd time he has been placed on the IL due to the same injury.
