Yesterday, the Chicago White Sox set a franchise record for the most losses in a single season with 107.

After the historic record, the White Sox faced off against the Baltimore Orioles today and it it looked like they didn't even care as they lost 13-3. Not to mention that with the loss today it marks there 11th in a row. Interim manager Grady Sizemore did not care to talk much about their terrible season when asked after the game.
«There's no sense in harping over the record right now,» interim manager Grady Sizemore said before the game. «Our job right now is to try to get a win today. We're trying to just improve on every day and get better as each series goes on. My message has been the same since I got here. It's not about the record. It's not about wins. It's just about competing and playing together as a team.»

Chicago, who are 31-107 broke their own record for losses which was set by the 1970 team.
The White Sox also completed the first 0-10 homestand in franchise history, becoming the first team since the 1965 Mets to have three 10-game losing streaks in one season.

Nonetheless, the team is in the tank and they are on their way to breaking the MLB record of 40-120-1. They will have to go 12-12 in the final 24 games to avoid this feat, and as it stands it is almost guaranteed that they will go under.
