Yariel Rodriguez had his first start as a Blue Jay against the Rockies yesterday, the same day he was brought up to the Major Leagues.

The Cuban pitcher had a great first start in which the Blue Jays ended winning the game. Rodriguez pitched 3.2 inning, allowing 4 hits and 1 run with 6 strikeouts.

I look forward to seeing him pitch again!

Since the Blue jays signed Rodriguez to a 5 year deal this winter, hopefully this is the beginning of a great career in the MLB for Rodriguez.
