Los Angeles Dodgers and former Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez went on the Foul Territory podcast yesterday and spoke on the Vladimir Guerrero Jr contract negotiations.
The Blue Jays are running out of time to re-sign Vladimir Guerrero Jr as they are just over two weeks away from the February 18th deadline and the two parties have yet to agree on a number.

Teoscar Hernandez recently went on the Foul Territory podcast, speaking about his off-season, mentioning how he got a lot less offers than he thought he would and also spoke on the Blue Jays current negotiations with Guerrero.
Teoscar Hernández opens up about the unexpected lack of calls he received in free agency.
Hernandez pointed out how the Blue Jays messed up by not making Guerrero feel wanted with the low offers they made him despite Guerrero stating on multiple occasions that he wants to stay in Toronto.

The Blue Jays have clearly gone about this entire situation with Guerrero in the worse way possible as they have continuously tried to lower his price despite him stating that he will not sign for lower which shows they do not believe in him.
Hernandez is close with Guerrero and clearly believes that the Blue Jays should do whatever they can to keep him in Toronto but management seems to think that they might be better off without Guerrero if the price is too high.
