The Blue Jays young outfielder left the game with a neck discomfort after the play and many were wondering how serious the injury would be since it is such a worrisome area to injure.
According to MLB insider Keegan Matheson, manager John Schneider told him that
Loperfido has no concussion symptoms and should be fine despite the way the play looked.

Good outcome given how awkwardly he went into the wall. #BlueJays
This is great news for both the Blue Jays since they are already missing Daulton Varsho and would be in a really tough spot to start the season down two of their top outfielders.
For Loperfido, this is great news since this could have been much worse and he is likely very happy to walk away from an incident like this without any severe injuries.
Hopefully fans will get to see Loperfido back in action later this week as he will likely get a couple days off to rest properly.
