Toronto Blue Jays fans have been hoping to see outfielder Daulton Varsho make an appearance in Spring Training and it looks like their wish is coming through.
Varsho has been said to be recovering at a rapid pace as most thought he would for sure miss the start of the season but it looks like things have changed as he might be ready in time for Opening Day.

Blue Jays Daulton Varsho set to make his first appearance of Spring Training against the Yankees
Varsho has been progressing at a rapid rate this off-season and things are starting to look quite bright as the Blue Jays gave an incredible update this afternoon as Varsho is set to make his first appearance later this week.
According to MLB reporter Hazel Mae, the Blue Jays will have Varsho as DH on Friday against the Yankees and that he has been throwing from 120ft away but they manager John Schneider does not want him to be fielding in games just yet.
Daulton Varsho (shoulder) told me he expects to make his spring debut Friday at TD Ballpark. John Schneider confirmed he plans on DH'ing him.
Varsho is now throwing from 120 ft., and Schneider wants to err on the side of caution with his throwing.

After offseason shoulder surgery, #BlueJays outfielder Daulton Varsho is ready to take the field for spring training this week.
If Varsho does well at the plate Friday in terms of no bad feelings in his shoulder and is able to keep throwing, there is a good chance he is ready for the first game of the season which would be huge for the Blue Jays.
