Kloffenstein will get a Spring Training invite.
The Magnolia, TX native made his MLB debut in 2024.
Kloffenstein made his major league debut last season with the Cardinals in which he only pitched one inning, giving up 0 runs and finishing the season with a 0.00 ERA.
The right handed pitcher was actually drafted by the Blue Jays in third round of the 2018 MLB draft but was traded to the Cardinals in 2023 as part of the deal that brought Jordan Hicks to Toronto.
The Blue Jays are signing right-hander Adam Kloffenstein to a minor-league contract, source says. Kloffenstein was drafted by Toronto and eventually traded to the Cardinals, who non-tendered him this offseason. He gets an invite to spring training.
This could end up being a solid move for the Blue Jays bullpen especially if injuries start to pile up as they did last season.
