The New York Yankees are doing everything in their power to fill every hole in order to make a deep WS Pennant run this season. The Bronx Bombers are gunning for one of the Toronto Blue Jays finest arms to do so.

If the Blue Jays are still four games under at the deadline, I'd expect Kikuchi and Garcia to be traded. Jansen could go. And perhaps Chad Green, Turner, KK. Players with more control would be harder to obtain, especially Bo & Vlad who both very likely stay in Toronto.
If the Toronto Blue Jays stay under .500 by the time the trade deadline arrives, they will most likely have to be sellers instead of buyers, which means they could see All-Star arms like Yusei Kikuchi leave and head over to divisional rivals like the Yankees.
"It's been a mixed bag for Yusei Kikuchi over the course of his three-year, $36 million deal with the Toronto Blue Jays," Reuter said. "After pitching to an ugly 5.19 ERA in 100.2 innings while getting relegated to the bullpen during his first season with the team, he rebounded last year with a 3.86 ERA and a career-high 181 strikeouts in 167.2 innings.
"The 33-year-old southpaw has been even better this year, posting a career-best 95.6 mph fastball velocity and generating a whiff rate of at least 25 percent with his entire four-pitch repertoire. The 3.57 FIP backing his 3.65 ERA provides plenty of reason for optimism going forward."

Jays fans obviously hope that this will not be the case this season, but as it looks right now, they are not trending in the right direction.
