With Mookie Betts going down with an injury which could keep him out for up to 8 weeks, the Los Angeles Dodgers are doing everything they can to find a suitable replacement.

It looks like Bo Bichette could be leaving Toronto sooner rather than later as the Dodgers are gunning for him to try to buy some time until Betts is healthy again.
With Mookie Betts on the shelf for up to eight weeks, the Dodgers desperately need a shortstop. Could the #BlueJays send Bo Bichette and Kevin Kiermaier out west and tap into the Dodgers' top-shelf farm system?
Per the 'Blair and Barker Show', they discussed that this trade is a very real possibility, and that it is not the first time Bichette's name has been in the Dodgers interest.
«one of the reasons so many well-sourced national reporters keep mentioning Bichette's name in trade rumors is there is chatter that the Blue Jays and Dodgers kicked the ball around during the off-season, but the Dodgers mentioned Gavin Lux's name and that's no shock: Lux has run his course as a Dodger.»

The point being that, despite his struggles at the plate this year, Bichette's trade value may never be higher. As Blair wrote, «It makes sense that Bichette approaching free agency and the Blue Jays' wobbly start to the season would provide fertile ground for trade rumors. And let's be clear: you'd get a bigger return for Bichette now than in the off-season, because theoretically the acquiring team would get him for two post-seasons.»

Jays Fans would obviously hate to see Bichette go, but if they could get a great return and some highly touted prospects, should the Blue Jays really consider this?
