Over the past couple of weeks, Major League Baseball has released the top 100 players right now and the Toronto Blue Jays find their superstar Vladimir Guerrero junior at #13 after being ranked #52 last season.

Guerrero junior has shown that he is the true talent that the Blue Jays thought he would be and is preparing to have another great season for himself and hopefully for the team.
Guerrero Jr hopes to continue his offense in 2025
The Toronto Blue Jays first baseman is coming off quite the bounce back campaign. After batting .264 with a .788 OPS and 2.0 WAR in 2023, Guerrero hit .323 with a .940 OPS and 6.2 WAR in 2024. He racked up 199 hits, 30 home runs, 44 doubles and 103 RBI, joining Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Whitt Jr. as the only players to reach all of those marks. - Sam Connon

Last season, he made his fourth consecutive All Star appearance he also won the Silver Slugger and was also considered in the running for the American League MVP award where he finished sixth.
Guerrero actually made the fifth-largest jump of any top-100 player by moving up 39 spots. Cincinnati Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz led the pack in that regard, going from No. 100 to No. 31, while Milwaukee Brewers catcher Williams Contreras, San Francisco Giants third baseman Matt Chapman and Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte also climbed 40-plus spots. - Sam Cannon
New Contract all the focus for Vlad and the Blue Jays
Earlier this offseason, the Blue Jays and Guerrero Jr managed to sign a one year contract extension which will put him in free agency after the 2025 season.
He instilled a deadline for contract talks as he does not want to have this distraction during his contract year as he hopes to land as much money as possible.
As Vladimir Guerrero Jr is set to become a Blue Jay for life in the next 72 hours, this is still the coolest HR he's ever hit. Unbelievable. #BlueJays
All pundits and most Blue Jays fans hope that both parties can come together and get a deal done as he is the face of this organization and will likely help attract more free agents even though this offseason was quite disappointing.
Likely, signing Guerrero Jr to a mega contract would be in the benefit of the Blue Jays now and for many years to come.
