The Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider announced some great news this morning as it looks like Daulton Varsho might end up coming back sooner than expected.
Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho seems to be recovering quicker than expected
Blue Jays Daulton Varsho had his season cut short last season after needing surgery on his shoulder which he has been rehabbing all off-season but many though he would still miss a good portion of the start of the season.
Manager John Schneider stated yesterday that Varsho's recovery has been going better than expected and it looks like he might be returning to the field soon than expected as he is hitting and throwing already.
Daulton Varsho (shoulder surgery) is hitting, throwing to 90 feet. Schneider said Jays are operating as if he'll miss time but «we're not putting anything past him.»
Will Wagner (knee surgery) is doing everything and will see time at third and first this spring.
As of right now there is still a chance that Varsho misses the beginning of the season as they do not want to rush things but there is still a possibility that he ends up being ready for Opening Day.
Varsho was spotted this morning taking some pitches from Bowden Francis with Ernie Clement and Bo Bichette which is a very positive sign as it shows he is recovering quicker than expected.

Hopefully Varsho will be healthy and ready for the start of the season as it will help the Blue Jays start strong.
