The Detroit Tigers are apparently looking to add to their offense this winter and one of their main targets seems to be Toronto Blue Jays Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
The Tigers greatly surpassed expectations this season as they made in to game 5 of the American League Division Series losing to the Cleveland Guardians which also no one saw coming.
The Tigers interested in making a trade offer for Blue Jays Vladimir Guerrero Jr
According to reports, the Tigers would be willing to send Reese Olson, Jace Jung, Matt Manning and Jose Dickson to Toronto in exchange for Guerrero which would likely go down as the biggest trade of the off-season.
According to Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press, a proposed trade could see the Tigers acquiring Guerrero Jr. in exchange for a package that includes right-handed pitcher Reese Olson, infielder Jace Jung, right-handed pitcher Matt Manning, and shortstop Jose Dickson. -Brady
While this is not a bad offer, fans in Toronto would be extremely disappointed if the team decided to trade Guerrero as they have been all over social media this season saying that the team should do whatever they can to re-sign Guerrero.
Guerrero has stated he would like to stay in Toronto for his entire career but has admitted that he understands it is a business at the end of the day and just because he wants to stay, that does not mean he will.
