Report discloses that Atkins' replacement might be just as bad of a GM
Blue Jays fans have been hoping for some big changes in their front office after current GM Ross Atkins has continuously made terrible decisions for the organization.
Many believe James Click could be a great replacement for Atkins but a recent report shows some worrying signs. Click won a World Series with the Astros but his roster was passed down to him with stars such as Alex Bregman, Jose Altuve and Yordan Alvarez similar to Atkins when he first got to Toronto and had his best seasons with the team. Another worrying factor is that Click focus heavily on analytics when making moves which is very similar to how Atkins currently runs things.
James Click feels like the obvious choice to replace Ross Atkins as the #BlueJays next GM, but he might not be the best candidate for the job.
Fans are worried that history might repeat itself if the Blue Jays hire a GM that operates the same way as Atkins. It seems that after almost a decade without any real success, the Blue Jays need to come up with a completely new strategy and an outside hire with some fresh ideas might be the best solution.
