Daniel Judgeaport announce that the Blue Jays have made it known that Vladimir Guerrero Jr is available
Judgeaport confirmed last night that the Blue Jays have let it be know to all the teams in the MLB that Guerrero is available for a trade as the superstar and the Blue Jays front office have yet to agree to terms on a contract extension.
DEVELOPING: The Toronto #BlueJays have let it be known to all 30 teams that Vlad Guerrero Jr is available. Where will Vlad end up?
There have been rumors surrounding Guerrero over the last few weeks as certain teams are interested in the Blue Jays first baseman since the market for skilled players at his position is small.
The Blue Jays will clearly not move Guerrero for just anyone but if a team shows up with a big enough offer that could end up changing the entire franchise's current position, general manager Ross Atkins will definitely think about it.
Unless the trade for Guerrero involves multiple all-star caliber players, Blue Jay fans will likely be quiet upset with Atkins and if the team does not improve after this trade, there will be some serious consequences such as a massive hit in attendance.
Hopefully Atkins knows what he is doing since this trade can end up ruining the organizations future and his own as the likelihood of another team giving him a shot after making that big of a mistake will be slim.
