MLB GM states to insider Jim Bowden that the Toronto Blue Jays will be trading Vladimir Guerrero Jr

An MLB GM recently spoke with MLB insider Jim Bowden and stated that the Toronto Blue Jays will be forced to trade Vladimir Guerrero Jr this off-season due to a franchise changing offer.
Guerrero has been surrounded by trade rumors over the last couple weeks as there has been no updates on his contract extension and GM Ross Atkins has refused to give any real details.

According to a recent report, an MLB GM recently told MLB insider Jim Bowden that the Blue Jays will change their mind regarding keeping Guerrero as he believes the Blue Jays will be getting a massive franchise changing offer for him.
Although it seems like a no-brainer that the Jays will ultimately work out a big extension with Vladdy this upcoming year, at least one anonymous general manager does not think so. In a recent article by MLB insider Jim Bowden of The Athletic, he revealed that one National League GM believes that the Jays will change their mind and actually trade Guerrero as a potential fallout of the free agent market and its happenings. -Eng

The reasoning behind this GM's though process is that once top first basemen such as Pete Alonso and Christian Walker are off the board, teams will turn to the Blue Jays since they do not seem to be motivated to get a deal done with Guerrero.
