The Blue Jays pitcher Alek Manoah has been on a rehab stint in Triple-A as of recently in which he had his second start last night that went quite poorly.

Manoah has been coming back from an injury since the beginning of the season and was headed in the right direction after his first Triple-A start. Last Friday, he had his first start in Triple-A with 5 strikeouts and giving up 2 runs in 6 innings after a terrible start in A ball where he gave up 6 runs in 1.2 innings.
Last night, Manoah regressed as he gave up 6 runs on 7 hits through 3 inning pitched with 2 homeruns allowed as well. The only good news coming from the outing was that he was able to strikeout 5 batters.

3 IP 6 ER, 7 H, 4 BB, 5 K
 2 HR

I liked how he looked last time out, but this is a step back. #BlueJays

This inconsistency of going from bad to good then back to bad has fans wondering if Manoah has any chance of returning to the pitcher he was during the 2022 season.

If Manoah has any plan on getting back on track, he will need to turn things around quickly as time is running out.
