Blue Jays announce starting pitcher for tonight against the Royals

The series between the Blue Jays and Royals is tied at 1-1 after the Jays won game 1 5-3, they lost the following game last night 3-2.

Rodriguez will be taking the mound tonight in hopes of giving the Blue Jays a 2-1 lead in the series. The Cuban pitcher has started 2 games so far which were both wins with a 2.35 ERA and 1.30 WHIP. In his last game, which was against the Padres, Rodriguez pitched 4 innings giving up 1 run, 4 hits and striking out 7 batters.

The Blue Jays will be facing Marsh who will be making his fifth start of the season and holds a 3.22 ERA with a 1.03 WHIP.

Rodriguez has proved so far that he is worth the contract he signed with the Blue Jays this summer and if he keeps this high level of play up, he will have a bright future in the MLB.
