Kevin Kiermaier is officially back with the Toronto Blue Jays

The Toronto Blue Jays former outfielder Kevin Kiermaier has announced that he will be returning to Toronto this upcoming season as a coach.
Kiermaier only spent two seasons in Toronto before being traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers last trade deadline where he ended up winning a World Series but in his short amount of time in Toronto, he seemed to have loved.

Kiermaier sat down with MLB insider Keegan Matheson this afternoon and announced that he is headed back to the Blue Jays organization but this time as a coach.
The former outfielder just retired and stated that he will be part of the Blue Jays coaching staff this season as a special assistant/outfielder specialist which he knows a ton about.

Or, as he puts it: «A special assistant slash outfield specialist slash outfield whisperer.»
Kiermaier: «I am just thrilled. This is the dream job of a lifetime. I cannot wait.»
After retiring earlier in the off-season, Kiermaier stated that he would love to return to the Blue Jays in some way as he absolutely loved his time in Toronto which is why he decided to take a coaching position.

Kiermaier was one of the best defensive outfielders of his era which is why this is an excellent hire by the Blue Jays especially with all the young outfielders they currently have in their oganization.
