Toronto Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins spoke to the media yesterday about the team's plan for the rest of the off-season which looks like it might include a trade.

The Blue Jays saw Pete Alonso as their final free agent that they had interest in and despite believing that they had a serious chance in closing in on him, he ended up returning to the New York Mets for less money.

The off-season is drawing to a close and it looks like the Blue Jays are still open to trying to pull off a few final moves before Spring Training begins according to GM Ross Atkins.
During a interview yesterday, Atkins stated that the team is always looking to add players but that it would likely be a position player as they feel like their are lock and loaded with their pitchers.
Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins on whether his club is continuing to look for ways to add this offseason:
Atkins stated that he is always looking to add players that can help the team win but stated that at this point he believes that they would likely be closing a trade to add players as there is not much left on the free agent market.
Despite the Blue Jays being linked to free agent Alex Bregman and reports stating that they have put in an offer, after what Atkins says, it looks like he is already planning on missing out on signing him as well.
If the Blue Jays can go and land at least one more solid hitter through a trade before the start of the season, they will certainly have one of the best teams in the AL East next season.
There is still a few solid trade options available but with Spring Training right around the corner, the Blue Jays will have to act quickly if they still want to add more players.
