Toronto broadcaster Sid Seixeiro has officially been fired

News broke this morning that co-hosts Sid Seixeiro and Meredith Shaw has been fired from CityTV's show Breakfast television.
Seixeiro is well known around the city of Toronto after many years on Sportsnet while also been an extremely vocal fan of the Toronto Blue Jays in which he continues to post his opinions on the team online.
CityTV announces that Meredith Shaw and Sid Sexeiro has been fired from Breakfast Television
During a broadcast this morning it was announced that both Seixeiro and Shaw had been fired from their positions as co-hosts on Breakfast television but the reason why has yet to be released.
Viewers of Toronto's Breakfast Television on CityTV woke up to a surprise on Monday morning: co-hosts Sid Seixeiro and Meredith Shaw are no longer with the show. -Laskaris
Seixeiro was on the show since March 2021 while Shaw came in 2023 but Seixeiro already had a big fan base before Breakfast Television as he was part of a show on Sportsnet called Tim & Side from 2011 until 2021 when he was fired.
Seixeiro had built up a large following at Rogers Sportsnet, co-hosting the Tim & Sid show alongside Tim Micallef from 2011 until 2021, when Micallef took the show over as "Tim & Friends." -Lasarkis
Shaw posted a message on social media this morning regarding the firing stating that she is sad regarding the move but that she is thankful to everyone for her time at Breakfast Television.
Seixero also put out a message on social media confirming that he has been fired and also thanked everyone at Rogers communication for the past 13 years he has been with them.
