Kevin Kiermaier was out of the Toronto Blue Jays lineup on Friday, although today, he is back in the lineup as they take on the New York Yankees in the Bronx.

It has been an extremely rough season for Kiermaier so far. According to Baseball Reference, Kiermaier has gone ice cold for the Jays as he has one hit and zero runs in seven games. Furthermore, his batting average is .056 with an on-base percentage of .150. These numbers are no good and will not help the Blue Jays achieve their goals.
That said, having him back in the lineup today could be a recipe for success. The Blue Jays won their last game 3-0, which was definitely a positive development. With the offense struggling, perhaps this win will kick them into gear.
"Baseball Night in the Bronx"
This is a crucial game for the Blue Jays. To start this season, they are 4-4. The only time they have had a positive record was after their season opener against the Tampa Bay Rays. If they can get the offense going, perhaps this team will finally get into the driver's seat.
If you are a fan of the Blue Jays and want to catch this game, you can do so as of 7 PM Eastern Standard Time. For those of you who live in Canada, the game will be broadcast live on Sportsnet.
