The Toronto Blue Jays seem to be getting taking advantage of once again as they did with Shohei Ohtani last winter but this time it is free agent Juan Soto.
Blue Jays fans last year saw their hopes crushed when Shohei Ohtani was apparently very interested in signing in Toronto but it turned out just to be a way for him to raise the Los Angeles Dodgers bid.
The Blues Jays seem to be getting taking advantage of as Juan Soto is using them to raise his value
«The Toronto Blue Jays will be first [to meet with Juan Soto this week] after trying to land Shohei Ohtani last winter, the Blue Jays are serious about adding a star alongside Vladimir Guerrero Jr.»
According to reports, there is a good chance that Soto is using the Blue Jays to set the market price as well as raise his value since he knows the Blue Jays will be making a big offer right off the bat.
Do you think the Blue Jays are getting used as leverage yet again?

MLB insider Daniel Judgeaport confirmed that Soto has narrowed down his free agency search down to the New York Yankees, New York Mets, Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers.
BREAKING: Former NY #Yankees OF Juan Soto has narrowed his Free Agency search to 4 teams (#Redsox, #Yankees, #Mets, and #Dodgers) Soto could sign as soon as tomorrow per source.
The Blue Jays seem to have unfortunately fooled once again as they have a very small chance of signing Soto unless their offer is above and beyond higher than the other teams.
The good news is the majority of the top free agents are still on the board as only 1 big signing has happened so far so they did not miss out of free agency like last year putting all their time into one player.
