Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho has been having an incredible off-season winning all kinds of awards and has now been named for the MLB Alumni Heart & Hustle award.

The MLB announced yesterday that Varsho along with 29 other players have been nominated for the Heart & Hustle award which is voted on by active players and MLB Alumnis.

VOTING IS NOW OPEN
The MLB Alumni Heat & Hustle award is given to the player who demonstrates the most passion for the game of baseball while also being an incredible teammate and embracing the traditions of baseball.
Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association's Heart & Hustle Award is voted on by Major League alumni and active players, and is presented annually to a player who demonstrates a passion for the game of baseball and best embodies the values, spirit and traditions of the game. -MLB
5% of the awards voting also comes from fans which can be done on the MLB website but the other 95% comes from the alumni and current players. The fan voting polls are currently open and will close on November 18th 2024.
Voting ends Monday, Nov. 18, at 12 p.m. ET. Fan voting constitutes five (5) percent of the total voting for the final award winner. Must be thirteen (13) years of age or older to vote. -MLB
While Varsho struggled at the plate this year, his defensive game was so incredible that he should be the clear winner for this award.
