Blue Jays announce injury update regarding outfielder George Springer
Fans were incredibly worried right away as Springer need help from trainer Jose Minstral to get off the field which had many believing that this was a very serious injury.
George Springer is walking off the field with the help of trainer Jose Ministral and manager John Schneider. Nathan Lukes takes over in RF
After the game, Blue Jays manager John Schneider stated that
Springer was dealing with back spasms after hitting the wall and despite how the play looked, he will not need an MRI.
John Schneider says that George Springer has lower back spasms.
No MRI needed. Sounds like very good news given how bad that looked. #BlueJays
Prior to this afternoon's game, Springer did some pre game work and seemed to not be in pain which is a huge positive.

• George Springer did some pre-game work and it looked like he was in good spirits
• It's cool and windy, but better than yesterday
• Made eye contact with Mrs. Met in the hallway and got nervous
Hopefully Springer will only end up being day to day and the Blue Jays will be able to get him back in the lineup sometime next week since he has been a massive part of their success so far this season.
The Blue Jays continue to be unlucky this season when it comes to injuries since it seems that every week another player has been going down.
