Davis Schneider played a phenomenal game for the Toronto Blue Jays and even hit a home run, however, it apparently wasn't good enough to keep him in the lineup for tonight's game against the Houston Astros.

Last night, the Blue Jays were down 1-0 going into the ninth inning. However, Schneider hit a two-run homer at the top of the inning, which eventually secured them the win, according to Fox Sports. It was a huge win for the Blue Jays, especially since they had lost the previous game to the Astros by a score of 10-0.
Despite Schneider's heroics, it seems like the Blue Jays are going in a different direction today. According to the team's Twitter account, the Blue Jays will not have Schneider in the lineup. Instead, they will have Bo Bichette in there. It's an interesting move, especially given Bichette's errors this year.
Going for the series win!
The Blue Jays currently boast a record of 3-3, which is not going to be good enough if they want to make the playoffs. Meanwhile, their offense has gone cold, and very few fans are excited about the roster. Only time will tell whether or not they can go on a run and separate themselves from the rest of the American League East.
Vote in the poll below if you believe this is a mistake on John Schneider's part. Also, if you want to watch the game, it is set to go down at 8:10 PM Eastern Standard Time.
