Blue Jays vs Astros betting odds revealed
The Toronto Blue Jays will be taking on the Houston Astros today in game one of a three-game series. Overall, this series is going down in Houston, and there is a lot of pressure on the Astros to finally get a win.
In their first four games, the Astros have gone completely winless. This is a massive surprise when you consider how the Astros have been one of the best teams in baseball over the past few years. As for the Blue Jays, they are currently 2-2 on the season after splitting a four-game series with the Tampa Bay Rays. For both of these teams, this is an opportunity to get on a bit of a roll.
Interestingly enough, despite their horrific start to the season, the Astros are going into this game as the favorites. Per numerous sportsbooks, the Astros were -140 favorites. Meanwhile, the Blue Jays are +120 underdogs. Additionally, the spread is at 1.5. The Blue Jays are -160 to cover this spread, while the Astros are at +135. Needless to say, oddsmakers are expecting a fairly tight game.
