Blue Jays get crushed by arguably one of the worst team in baseball
The Toronto Blue Jays got absolutely crushed by the Colorado Rockies who had only 3 wins on the season going into the game.
It is still very early into the season but it may be time for Blue Jays management to start thinking of how they can change things up as the team continues to struggle. This series against the Rockies was supposed to be an easy sweep that turned into an embarrassing game 1 for Toronto at home nonetheless.
The Blue Jays still have a lot of baseball left in the season as we are only 2 weeks in but something has to change.
The offense has been struggling immensely in which even their star players are off to a slow start. The bigger issue comes for the Jays pitching as that was supposed to be their strong side but even their pitchers including ace Kevin Gausman has been off to a rough start.
Hopefully the Blue Jays can turn things around next game and finish off the Rockies on a high but they will need to approach the game very differently from this one if they plan on winning.
