Blue Jays George Springer and a group of fans went above and beyond for a lady after learning her story regarding her sick husband.
A fan attended the Blue Jays game recently without her husband as he was in the hospital but insisted she go for the both of them. A group of fans nearby heard her story and decided to buy her husband a Springer jersey. After the game, Springer also heard of the lady's story and contacted her to sign the jersey for her husband.

In Toronto, a woman attended the Blue Jays home opener alone after her husband, who was in the hospital, insisted that she go "for both of them."
At the game, a group of strangers found out and bought a George Springer jersey for him.
When George Springer found out, he tracked her down and asked if he could sign the jersey.
