There has been a lot of speculation surrounding outfielder George Springer as the trade deadline is rapidly approaching.

The Atlanta Braves seem to be interested in trading for Springer since their star outfielder Ronald Acuna is done for the season with a brutal ACL injury.
Former Blue Jays GM and current Braves GM Alex Anthopoulos has a history of going after players in need of a change of scenery which may be the case for Springer since he is having the worst season of his career.
The Braves would be buying him on the idea that the change of scenery could kickstart him back to a positive offensive player. Surrounding him with All-Stars in the Braves lineup, with a new coaching staff and a new fan base could work wonders for him.

They're also trading two prospects that may never bring a real impact to Atlanta. Not that they aren't talented prospects, but they're on the older side and two of Atlanta's lowest floor top 30 prospects.

The Blue Jays would be able to get two of the Braves top 30 prospects in return and save money on Springer's contract.
This deal does have some negatives since the prospects can end up not panning out but it can also help the Blue Jays in the long run as well, especially when it comes to saving money.
