The Blue Jays took on the Yankees last night in a tough 16-5 loss in Toronto despite looking solid offensively.
During the game, outfielder George Springer was removed from the game with a left hand contusion, precautionary scans came back negative for a fracture which is a good sign.
UPDATE: OF George Springer was removed from tonight's game with a left hand contusion.
He underwent precautionary imaging that was negative for a fracture.
This is terrible timing for Springer who seems to be on a role over his last few games including 9 RBIs in his last 3 games.
While his hand might not be fractured, he will likely still miss some time as it is still a serious injury.
