Los Angeles Dodgers Shohei Ohtani leaves game 2 of the World Series with an injury
In the seventh inning, Ohtani tried to steal second base to give the Dodgers a larger lead but everything turned for the worst as Ohtani slammed his arm on the ground sliding in and seemed to have injured his shoulder.
Japanese media saying Shohei Ohtani popped his shoulder out. We had a perfect World Series and the baseball gods do this?!!
Some alternate angles of Ohtani's slide into 2nd, which caused him to leave the field with a trainer.
Ohtani seemed to be in a ton of pain leaving the field with the Dodgers trainer and it does not look good as fans in the stands seems to be fearing the worse as Ohtani might done for the post season.
If Ohtani ends up being out for the rest of the post season this will be a huge advantage for the Yankees but the Dodgers still have plenty of offensive power that the Yankees will have to deal with.
The Dodgers have yet to give an update on the Ohtani but the commentator did confirm that it was his shoulder and not his wrist that injured while sliding into second base.
Ohtani is slow to get up after he attempted to steal 2nd.
