Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider looks at risk of losing his job according to the latest report suggests.

Blue Jays manager at risk of losing his job according to reports
Former MLB GM Jim Bowden recently went on the Foul Territory podcast and spoke on Blue Jays manager John Schneider regarding his job security which does not seem good.
According to Bowden, if the Blue Jays end up missing the playoffs for a second year in a row or fail to do anything in the playoffs in they make it, the team will likely end up firing him.
On Wednesday, insider and former MLB general manager Jim Bowden said during an appearance on Foul Territory that Schneider and AL East rival Brandon Hyde of the Baltimore Orioles would likely both need playoff appearances to avoid being fired. -Roberts
"I think Brandon Hyde in Baltimore and John Schneider in Toronto are the two guys that have to win," Bowden said. "They've got to take their teams to the playoffs, or I don't think they'll have their jobs." -Bowden
The former MLB GM also stated that if the Blue Jays hit a slump and are out of a playoff picture in June or July, he believes that Schneider will be fired halfway through the season.
"If they're out of it in June or July and all of a sudden, they're dumping it, I think either one of those guys could be the first manager fired in-season." -Bowden
Schneider definitely has a lot of pressure to deliver this season but this is no surprise since he has done pretty much nothing as manager of the Blue Jays so far and it would make no sense for them to keep him if he continues to do zero.
It will be an interesting couple months ahead for Schneider who needs his team to continue to perform if he wants to keep his job.
