The Toronto Blue Jays' minor league affiliate, the Buffalo Bisons, has been ranked as the top organization in terms of talent depth among all American league -minor league affiliates. The future for the Blue Jays seems bright with such a stacked prospect pool.
Alongside top prospects, the infield boasts other notable top prospects such as, Addison Barger, Leo Jimenez, Damiano Palmegiani, and Spencer Horwitz, all kicking off their season at Triple-A. However, much attention will be on Tiedemann's, the starting pitcher. The 21-year-old southpaw aims to demonstrate that his fastball-sweeper-changeup mix is Major League-ready, particularly in the competitive AL East division.
Although Ricky Tiedemann is having a slow start, it seems that he is going to be a bright spot for the blue jays in the future. As stated, he is only 21 years old and has one heck of an arm on him. Drafted in the 3rd round by the Blue Jays, he is supporting an 0-1 record with an ERA of 6.23 in his first two games this season. As touted as MLB 27th overall prospect, it seems he has a very high ceiling.
That being said, in totality, the Bisons are ranked #1 and maybe some of the off the board prospects are the reason for that. Hopefully those diamond in the rough players could contribute, or even excel at the major league level.
