Toronto Blue Jays starting catcher Danny Jansen broke a bone in his wrist during Spring Training and has been out since. He has recovering quickly and was recently sent to Buffalo for a rehab stint impressing in his first game.
Jansen has been in Triple-A on a rehab assignment playing with the Blue Jays affiliates, the Buffalo Bisons. Last night in a game against Rochester, Jansen hit a go ahead Grand Slam to give the Bisons the lead in a 12-11 win.
Toronto Blue Jays C Danny Jansen, on rehab assignment in Buffalo, hit go-ahead grand slam during Wednesday's 12-11 win vs. Rochester, 5th straight W for Bisons
The Bisons have been on fire lately contrary to the Blue Jays as they are currently on a 5 game winning streak.
Hopefully Jansen recovers quickly and will be back in the Major leagues quickly and will bring some of that luck with him.
