Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and the Toronto Blue Jays had a tremendous night on Monday as they won their home opener against the Seattle Mariners, 5-2.

Coming into Monday's game, the Blue Jays needed a win as they had lost two in a row to the New York Yankees. The team's offense has been letting them down, and some suspect pitching performances were also proving to be a massive problem. However, on Monday, things changed for the better as the Blue Jays bats came alive.
Below, you can see that Vladimir Guerrero Jr. got an RBI off of a double in the bottom of the fourth inning. This was a huge play for Vlad, who actually had a total of two hits in the match. After getting this hit, he ended up crouching down at second base, where he did some light dance moves as the crowd cheered. Clearly, he was feeling himself and was happy with his in-game accomplishment.

According to MLB Stats, Blue Jays pitcher Jose Berrios was also a gem in the game. He played over six innings and pitched a shutout during that time. He struck out six batters, and while he gave up four hits, none of them reached home plate. It was another great outing that goes to show just how reliable Berrios is as a starter.
Tonight, the Toronto Blue Jays will be back in action against the Seattle Mariners. The game will start at around 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
