Toronto Blue Jays fans simply cannot get enough of the team's new hitting coach David Popkins as they have been preaching online how great of a job he has already done.
The Blue Jays made a ton of new hires this off-season but the biggest one by far was bringing in new hitting coach David Popkins who has been doing a phenomenal job in a very short period of time.

The Blue Jays offense was horrendous last season as multiple players saw a massive decline at the plate apart from Vladimir Guerrero Jr who had a career season which is why they hired Popkins.
Fans have been flooding social media recently with how happy they have been with the results from how Popkins has been doing so far in Spring Training as the team's offense has been looking great.

I wonder how much of the Jays hitters' ST showings can be attributed to David Popkins working his magic. This goes without saying, but the ideas he publicly espouses are antithetical to Mattingly's.
While the sample size is still very small as the team is only in Spring Training, he seems to have helped a ton of players improve at the plate such as Bo Bichette, Andres Gimenez and Myles Straw who have all been great so far.
Hopefully this incredible improvement continues during the season because if the Blue Jays plan on actually competing for a World Series this year, they will need to be at the top of their game in all aspects.
