Vladimir Guerrero Jr confirms during interview he is not going anywhere

The Toronto Blue Jays have been apparently getting much closer to a deal with Vladimir Guerrero Jr and during an interview today the Blue Jays superstar wants to stay in Toronto.
There has been rumors that the Blue Jays put in a new offer to Guerrero that is supposedly around the $500 million range on a 14 year term and there seems to be a solid chance it gets signed this week.

Since the off-season fans have been wondering if Guerrero truly wants to stay in Toronto since he has said on multiple occasions that in free agency he will be open to discussing with every team.
During an interview today, Guerrero stated he has completely let his lawyer and agent deal with the negotiations but made it clear that his goal is still to remain with the Blue Jays.

"I want to stay in Toronto."
The Dominican slugger is focused on playing, while his legal team handles the rest.

This is a great step in the right direction for the Blue Jays who a couple months ago were not sure that they were going to be able to get him to stay or if he even wanted to.
Now that fans know that the team is willing to offer him big money and that Guerrero actually wants to stay, there is a very good chance that a deal gets done shortly.
