The Toronto Blue Jays lost this afternoon to the New York Mets in which a scary incident took place with Mets pitcher David Peterson.

The Mets had David Peterson on the mound today in New York and during the game the manager and team doctor went to check on Petersen as he said he was feeling nauseous and could not see.
«My vision just went blurry,» the New York Mets pitcher said. «Vision then started to come back and stomach turned over on me and just felt worse with every breath I took and just, I felt like I got punched in the stomach and was going to throw up." -Peterson

Peterson ended up staying in the game for two more batters but then ended up leaving as he was still not feeling any better after the mound visit.
Peterson remained in the game for two more batters and, after being checked by a team doctor, said he thought the issue wasn't anything major. After the game Peterson stated that he was feeling a lot better after getting some good for in him while adding that this is something that has never happened to him before but that he is hoping is a one and done.
«I'm feeling better,» he said. «I got some food in there when I came in and the doctor looked at me and they're not concerned, so it's not something I've ever had so, hopefully, it's one and done and move on.» -Peterson

Thankfully the Mets team doctors seem to believe that what happened on the mound was nothing serious and that Peterson will be able to continue playing.
