Toronto Blue Jays Vladimir Guerrero Jr confirms interest in playing for the New York Yankees

Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr has added fuel to the fire as activity on Instagram points directly to him being interested in playing for the New York Yankees.
The Blue Jays organization seems upside down right now ever since news broke that the team and Guerrero were unable to agree on a contract extension price tag for his new contracct.

A few years ago Guerrero stated that he would never play for the Yankees but then last season when asked if he would welcome a trade there he said he would be happy to help any team.
Guerrero Jr. had previously said in 2022 that he «would never sign with the [New York] Yankees, not even [when I'm] dead.»
Last season, Guerrero Jr. said he'd «be happy to help any team» when approached with the topic of a trade to the Yankees during a season when the Blue Jays were well out of the playoff race and New York ended up making the World Series. -Lasarkis

Now fans are going crazy because a Yankees fan account posted a picture of Guerrero in a Yankees jersey in which Guerrero decided to like.

Blue Jays fans now cannot believe that this is an idea Guerrero would actually welcome when a few years ago he wanted nothing to do with the Yankees.
Oh hell no
Since Guerrero would be a perfect fit in New York, it is scary for the Blue Jays to think that they will have to compete with them to sign him next season which they might end losing.
