Toronto Blue Jays Justin Turner Had Some Great Comments to Say About his New Team
The Blue Jays signed Justin Turner to a one-year deal worth $13 million in the offseason. Turner has been playing up to expectation so far at Spring Training and hopefully he can keep it up during the season because that is an entirely different beast.
Turner was asked by a reporter what he was most looking forward to playing with the Blue Jays. It seemed as though Turner is excited about quite a few things. He first mentioned how he loves the talented lineup and the pitchers, while also saying how they have a really great group of guys in the clubhouse. He finished his answer by stating one more thing, that he loves the fact that he will be getting to play for an entire country which is something only the Blue Jays can take pride in.
