The Toronto Blue Jays latest offer to Vladimir Guerrero Jr has been announced

The last reports stated that the Blue Jays are finally starting to progress in their negotiations with Guerreroas they were getting closer to his asking price but were still not there yet.

The Blue Jays up until now had yet to make Guerrero an offer that exceeded $400 million but it looks like their latest offer has now finally hit Guerrero's targeted asking price.

According to reports, the Blue Jays have made an offer to Guerrero for $450 million with an opt out after the fifth or sixth year but the actual term of the deal has yet to be announced.

While the term is still unknown, many believe that the term is probably somewhere between 12 and 15 years which would end up making Guerrero a Blue Jay for life unless he ends up playing into his 40's.

If the Blue Jays are able to land Guerrero for around $450 million, fans would be very happy with that since the Blue Jays would be saving close to $50-100 million since he would likely be able to get around $500 million in free agency.

Locking down Guerrero as fast as possible would not only be good for the team's future but it would also help them land players like Pete Alonso and Alex Bregman who are not yet completely sold on the Blue Jays.

Fans are desperately hoping that the Blue Jays will manage to get a deal done as Guerrero is their best player and the face of the franchise which is why losing him would break the fanbases heart.
