Blue Jays fans have been wondering what will happen with catcher Danny Jansen come the trade deadline in two weeks as he is still not signed to an extension.

Jansen has been having a great season which is why it is surprising the team has not offered him an extension. Now that the trade deadline is just over two weeks away and the two parties have yet to begin discussions regarding an extension, it looks like they will be moving Jansen.

To this point, the Toronto Blue Jays Decision Makers�️ have chosen to not sign Danny Jansen to an extension.

Therefore, come the trade deadline, he gone.

This move does not make a ton of sense since Jansen is a great catcher and the Blue Jays are far from having a ton of options at that position. Hopefully the Blue Jays will be able to get a solid return for the catcher.
