The Toronto Blue Jays seem to still be debating if they will end up signing Vladimir Guerrero to a contract extension and as they look at his skill they seem to be constantly overlooking one of his biggest qualities.
Guerrero has been a superstar since arriving in Toronto and has been the face of the franchise but it does not seem enough for the front office as they have yet to come out and guarantee an extension.
The Blue Jays continue to overlook Vladimir Guerrero's durability
During these speculations of contracts, everyone from Ross Atkins to reporters and fans have mentioned how great Guerrero is offensively but everyone seems to always forget how durable he has been over his career.
Since coming into the MLB in 2019, Guerrero has played the majority of games with only the 2020 season being the year he played less than 100 games but that was due to Covid which he still played 100% of the games that season. On average, he has played in 94.14% of the Blue Jays games since arriving in the league in 2019.

This proves just how crucial signing Guerrero should be for the Blue Jays as he has been dominant on the field but has also proved to be reliable and durable at the same time which means they will likely get everything possible out of his contract.
