Rogers Centre Announce Hall of Famer Billy Joel is returning to town for the first time in 10 years

News broke this morning that the Toronto Blue Jays home will be hosting Rock n Roll hall of famer Billy Joel at the Rogers Centre for the first time in 10 years.
Billy Joel is a rock and roll icon that has spent quite some time away from Toronto as he has not played a show there in over 10 years but will be returning this year right before opening day 2025.

The Blue Jays announced on social media today that Joel will be back in town on March 15th and tickets will be going on sale on October 25th as they will likely sell out rather quick.

The Rogers Centre will also be hosting a number of great shows during the off-season as Taylor Swift is coming to town in November and Metallica will be performing in April 2025 not too long after Billy Joel.
In addition to Joel, Rogers Centre will also host a series of Taylor Swift shows in November of 2024 and Metallica in April of 2025. While everyone would certainly rather see more baseball at Rogers Centre, you can't beat this offseason lineup. -Farkas
The Blue Jays will be following up this list of shows at the Rogers Centre with their first game of the season in 2025 against the Baltimore Orioles on March 27th.
