This would make sense since if the Blue Jays are serious about trying to land Soto, the only way they would be able to land him after how terribly the 2024 season went is by making him the highest offer.
Despite many believing that Soto is just using the Blue Jays to raise his price, reports stated that Soto is willing to play for all the teams that are involved in the final bidding process.
