The Toronto Blue Jays have been off to a slow start this season but one player that has been at the top of his game since the start of Spring Training has been Bo Bichette.
The Blue Jays have had a very tough start to the season with a 12-2 loss on Opening Day with José Berrios on the mound and another bad 9-5 loss yesterday afternoon giving them a 1-2 record so far in 2025.
Fans cannot get enough of Bo Bichette right now despite the Blue Jays struggling
Bo Bichette is currently in a very important season not only because he is in the final year on his contract but because he struggled last season and is looking to bounce back in 2025.
So far, Bichette has been one of the few bright lights in the Blue Jays lineup this season even if the sample size is small as he dominated in Spring Training and has continued his incredible run into the season.
In the Blue Jays 9-5 loss yesterday afternoon Bichette went 4 for 4 with two doubles and a walk as he continues to play very well.
Bo Bichette was the most impressive player in Dunedin from the day I got there. It's carrying over.
4-for-4 with two doubles and a walk today. He's going to start swallowing up some of that Vladdy / extension conversation really, really soon. #BlueJays
On the bright side, Bo Bichette looks freaking amazing so far
With all the uncertainty surround Vladimir Guerrero Jr and the way Bichette has been playing, it would be foolish for the Blue Jays not to make sure that Bichette is locked into a contract extension before the half way point of the season.
If the Blue Jays end up losing both Guerrero and Bichette this off-season, their future is in serious trouble.
