The winner ended up being Garrett Crochet who had a 1.91 ERA in 37.2 innings pitched in June while striking out 56 batters.
Crochet definitely had a solid month but many fans believe the Blue Jays are often looked over when it comes to awards such as pitcher/player of the month.
Our team is always overlooked.
Regardless of not winning, Bassitt had an unbelievable month and hopefully he is able to keep it up as the Jays have a big hill to climb if they plan on making the playoffs.
