The MLB announced yesterday that Vladimir Guerrero hasoffically been named the first base starter for the All-Star game.
Guerrero will make his fourth appearance beating out Orioles Ryan Mountcastle who finished second in voting. The Blue Jays first baseman who still needs 5 more to tie his dad told reporters his goal is to tie him.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is headed back to the All-Star Game as a starter. Five more until he catches his father.

While at the start of the season, many fans were not sure if any Jays player would start at the All-Star game, Guerrero has been lights out over the last month proving he belongs there.
